two of my hostsisters have their birthdays this week (not the twins, the oldest daughter & youngest have their birthdays on the exact. same. day. |: no joke.) anddd if possible i'm going to go crash with my friend maria in fallersleben- maybe make some photoshoots with her (!!!)

christmas is coming, hoping for snow, working my bloody ass off to get presents for the hostsisters done. the presents part of christmas is blah, but the rest of it? geilll.

happy late thanksgiving to everyone home in the states, i hope you guys had lots of good food and laughs.

my family called on thanksgiving and it was really nice to talk to everybody, but the homesickness is really hard to deal with. it really got me knowing i wasn´t celebrating back home, but despite that i had a good day at the least.

i need to stop being such a lazy fucker and update my dA again, i have been drawing but simply not posting. laaaaaaazzzzzzyyyyyyyy, the inner conscience howls!

if it's a bit of a read, i apologize - i just want to be as thorough as possible.


SHOE COMMISSIONS FAQ

About the materials & quality:

I use acrylic paint & (sometimes) sharpies only*
Paintjobs last at the very least for 3 years, including through heavy wear. (I can personally attest to this.)
Paintjob vibrancy changes very little if at all over time.
Because it's acrylic paint, the paintjob is waterproof.

* I will NEVER use oil on any custom shoes. Oil paint deteriorates very quickly and retains a very strong chemical smell- The paint cracks very easily over time and the vibrancy also deteoriates. So for better longevity I use only acrylic.

About the shoes themselves:

The shoes must be made of fabric- Canvas is the most common type. (Think old school Converse.) Suede is also paintable.*
If you want brand new shoes to be painted on, in most cases you will have to buy them yourself. You know your own feet best and can pick shoes that fit you properly.
The shoes you send do NOT need to be brand new - If you have an old pair that need to be freshened up, I'll gladly paint those too.
Shoes do not have to be either black or white - I can paint on any coloured-fabric shoe, preferably in solids.


*While I can paint plastic as well, the paint does not stay anywhere near as well as on fabric. Fabric takes the paint and holds it whereas the plastic does not - So if your shoe scuffs, the paint will most likely go with it.

Wait Times

Shoes typically take about two weeks when I have a lot of free time - If something happens and I feel it will take longer than usual, I will notify you via note ASAP.
Please take into consideration the time it takes to ship your parcel, especially if you're wanting them done by a specific time and let me know as well. (:

Price & Shipping:

Base price for shoes is 45$ (roughly 30€.), not including boots or very large amounts of detail.
If you want boots painted, please note me.
This also does not include shipping. If I were in the States this wouldn't be a problem but because I have limited funds, especially with USD being so much weaker than the Euro here, I can't handle shipping. I'm super sorry for this.
I ship standard mail. If you need them shipped really quickly I can always go with prioritized.


Payment:

I take PayPal. I'd rather not risk money being lost in the mail or some other insecure form of transport.
If a commission is decided, I ask that you please pay at least half upfront. When the shoes are finished, I'll take photos and the last half can be sent then. Once I receive the final half I will mail the shoes back ASAP.
